The park for which this neighbourhood is named is a hidden gem tucked away in a valley at the south east corners of Yonge St. and Avenue Road. A lush green space with a wonderful children’s playground, Lytton Park is also home to the North Toronto Tennis Club whose members use the 3 well-maintained, night-lit courts for their instructional and house league programs. Additionally, there are two pristine bowling greens in Lytton Park that remain under the care of the North Toronto Lawn Bowling and Croquet Club since it was established here in 1912.
Herbert Begg Memorial Park
Sitting just south, across the road from Lytton Park, is another beautiful park that is actually a sunken garden. This quiet oasis-like parkland is a strolling garden of beauty and many residents enjoy walking their dogs here. It is also a popular spot for wedding photography as the backdrop is gorgeous.
Chatsworth Ravine and Otter Creek Park
The Chatsworth Ravine is part of Toronto’s Discovery Walks Program and offers Lytton Park residents a stream-side nature walk under a canopy of green. Otter Creek Park has a double pad outdoor ice rink that is also a popular spot for skate boarding in the summer. John Ross Robertson School
